I do not want the word count of my document to increase after editing. What do I do?
If you would like to keep your document at the same word count as at the time of submission then please mention this in the online submission form. - 20
Do you offer help to rewrite and paraphrase the plagiarized text in my manuscript?
Through the plagiarism check service, Editage helps you identify the sentences that overlap with previously published works. We also suggest measures that can help you reduce the overlap. However, these measures will have to be applied by the author. Academic publishing guidelines and standards require authors to interpret references in their own words and use direct quotes sparingly. In compliance with academic guidelines, Editage can only guide authors in this regard. We will be unable to conduct the actual paraphrasing on behalf of the author. Do you accept PDF documents?
Yes, we accept PDF documents only for Proofreading and Advanced Editing services. We do not accept PDF files under Premium Editing as the format does not support the content restructuring offered under Premium Editing.We use Adobe Acrobat Reader DC or PDF Annotator for editing PDFs. Note that as PDF editing involves a few additional processes, the turnaround time is a little longer than for editing an MS Word file. The final files contain the editor’s changes and suggestions. You are required to incorporate those changes in your main document.

When submitting a PDF file for editing, we recommend having the line spacing of the text set to double, if possible. Also, please have the text in selectable format in your PDF, as scanned PDFs with non-selectable text are difficult to edit.
