How can I place an order?
Once you submit an editing or publication support assignment to Editage, you will receive a login ID and password to access the Editage Online. To place an order the next time with us, you’ll need to login to Editage Online and submit your assignment details. Do I have to wait for a quotation from you?
No, if you want to place an order, you don’t need to wait for a quotation from us. You can get an instant quote by clicking here.
However, if your document is more than 10,000 words in length or if you have any special delivery date request, please contact our client servicing team using this link, and we’ll get back to you within one hour of inquiry during business hours.Do you edit parts of a manuscript?
Yes, we edit parts of a manuscript. This could be sections, pages, or paragraphs. You can ask our client servicing team to exclude certain sections of your document from the word count if you do not want those sections edited.
However, we strongly discourage you to send us parts of a sentence or paragraph for editing as this hampers the quality of the finished edit. Why do I need to attach a reference file and is there any specific format in which these need to be attached?
It is recommended that you give your editor as much background information as possible regarding your research. This ensures that your editor understands all aspects of your research, thereby enabling him to do a better edit of your manuscript. Note that files attached as reference files are not considered in the word count. How is my word count calculated?
The word count of any document includes the text, tables, references, and mathematical formulae. Unless you have instructed us to exclude some text or sections from the edit, we consider the word count of entire document in calculating the fee. Please note that any files attached for reference are not considered in the word count.
The screenshot below shows how we determine the word count of your paper.
