Frequently Asked Questions
- 01
What kind of document does the client need to share to proceed?
An English manuscript published in an authentic (non-predatory) journal for a Press Note or Shareable Research Summary. A grant proposal (preferably in English) is needed to prepare an executive summary. - 02
What media, news agencies, and etc do we send a press release to? How do we create a list? Do we share a list with the clients?
The list is drawn from a pre-existing list of media sources. We can’t share the list with clients, agencies don’t give contacts out. But, we can inform them that their press notes are hosted on reputed platforms such as Eurekalert. Another reputed platform we post on is Medium. Publishing on Medium drives the content through a pulsing, diverse network (and makes it look beautiful) — alongside real-world content — in ways that publishing on a University blog could never achieve alone. Use cases of Western Universities Publishing on Medium. Oxford University https://medium.com/oxford-university,MIT https://medium.com/mit-media-lab,Stanford University https://medium.com/@stanfordmag, University of Wisconsin-Madison - 03
What is the data format WORD? PDF?
Either is fine as long as the paper has been accepted by the journal publication - 04
Would the client be able to ask for revisions? If yes what is the additional charge?
One round of complimentary revisions is built into the job cycle. Moreover, we can continue to work with the client till the press note is finalized. The client can’t make revisions to the press notes once they’re distributed to the media. - 05
What is the word volume?
It can range from 350 to 500 words.
