Mobolaji studied Zoology at the University of Ilorin and University of Ibadan, Nigeria with a major in environment and ecological study. He is passionate about biodiversity conservation, which is also his core area of research interest. In 2016, he and some other conservationists started the Pangolin Conservation Working Group Nigeria. Since then he has grown to be one of the known voices for the conservation of pangolins in the country. He has two written publications to his name, both from his MSc and a third one in preparation from his work in pangolin conservation. Mobolaji also enjoys going bird-watching and generally observing nature. He is a member of the bird club in his community.
He is currently running a snail farming business while also serving as secretary to the conservation organization. He is actively searching and available for research study or training in conservation biology or biodiversity conservation.
