Megan is a 2nd year PhD student studying the role of blood flow in the development of hematopoietic stem cells. She has a passion for education and community involvement in science, particularly in getting middle and high school students interested in STEM fields. Her writing reflects her experiences in graduate school and lessons learned along the way. When she is not in the classroom or lab, she enjoys watching movies, going out with friends, and getting wrapped up in a good book.
