Fouzia is a Senior Lecturer at the Notre Dame Institute of Education in Karachi, Pakistan, where she teaches Science Content and Method along with Measurement and Evaluation in Education and Information and Communication courses to B.Ed. students. Fouzia has earned two Master’s degrees – one in Zoology and another in Educational Administration and Management. She has also completed her MPhil from Aga Khan University-Institute for Educational Development (AKU-IED), Pakistan, in 2017. Fouzia has designed, conceptualized, designed and facilitated learning courses across Pakistan as well as contributed to curriculum development for higher-level teacher-training courses. Prior to this, she gained 8+ years of experience as a professional development teacher at a community school in Karachi, and worked with AKU-IED and Professional Teacher Associations Network in Pakistan. Her research interests include teaching of science, classroom assessment, curriculum planning and development, English for academic purposes, and developing resilience.
