Indian-born, American Public Health Researcher Nirupama teaches at Seattle Central Community College. Her doctoral research was interdisciplinary and in the fields of gene-environment interactions and bioethics. She feels strongly about the need for more interdisciplinary research in science and is passionate about issues around social justice. She loves living in the beautiful Pacific Northwest and enjoys traveling, reading, crafting, and hanging out with her dog.
