Adejoke has a BSc in environmental management and an MSc in environmental science from the University of South Africa, Pretoria. She is the author and co-author of a few published papers on Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons in soils and sediments in the Niger Delta, Nigeria. She is currently pursuing her PhD in environmental science in the area of soil restoration through phytoremediation, with a focus on crude oil spills and their impact on the Ogoni ecosystem of the Niger Delta.
Adejoke also participates in voluntary services relating to public health and environmental issues, leads Bible classes for children at the local church, and loves spending what little time she gets for herself by reflecting, writing and reading. She lives with her husband and children.
