Treasured moments: Editage Insights anniversary

Did you know that Editage Insights celebrated it's 11th birthday this month? Just getting together with our editorial team virtually brought laughter, sighs, and maybe a few tears as we shared our best memories of Editage Insights.

We created verses, jingles and shared some truly funny anecdotes with each other. Here is a jingle by Sneha that stole our hearts:

"11 years of Editage Insights, guiding the way,
Helping researchers, night or day!
Publishing tips, and knowledge to share,
For every author, we’re always there!"

Creating content that resonates with the researcher and keeping up-to-date with whatever is going on in academia went hand-in-hand with our behind-the-scenes stories of friendships and bonding.

Team members who have been with Insights from the beginning include Sneha, Roohi and Aparna. Fondly, they recalled how every meeting would center around food! That was back when we worked from the office. They talked about the challenges, and how the Insights team was much larger when it started out. Over the years, it has always attracted the best talent which kept monthly meetings vibrant.

Those who joined the team later remembered how their initial hesitation of not knowing anyone was overcome and various events and outings made everyone feel at ease. The team remembered so many fun times together.

Most fondly, the training that was given to those who joined the team- in everything related to academia - was amazing. After all, to write for a researcher, you need to first learn to think like a researcher!

Newcomers always brought with them fresh ideas - some of those ideas stayed, some are a memory! A publication calendar, newsletter, publication coach series...

One thing is for sure, those of us who joined Editage Insights over the years: Neha, Radhika, Nisha, Aditi, Vasundara and Marisha - can attest to this team being quick on its' feet, having a never-ending willingness to learn and a dedication to bringing the best of content and training to the readers!
