Workshop: Editage Workshop at Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH), South Korea

On 26 March, 2018, Editage conducted a workshop on ‘How to make your manuscript submission ready’ at the Pohang University of Science & Technology. POSTECH is a private research university in Pohang, South Korea, dedicated to research and education in science and technology. The workshop was led by Jieun Hani Kim, Academic Trainer at Editage Insights. The workshop was conducted in the Haptics & Virtual Reality Laboratory and Intelligent Manufacturing Systems Laboratory of the University.

The trainer explained the IMRaD structure and discussed the basics of scientific writing and journal selection. Each section of the manuscript was discussed in detail along with best practices to be followed that helped researchers understand the do’s and don’ts of writing the manuscript effectively.

The workshop received a great response and was well-attended. The participants asked several questions pertaining to the topic and also shared their concerns about the challenges they face while writing a manuscript. The overall feedback was positive and encouraging.
