She speaks, writes, and conducts training related to researcher development and has worked as a researcher, staff developer and consultant with universities within the UK and overseas. Dr Williams co-authored the book "What Every Postdoc Needs to Know" to help those navigating the tricky early career researcher years. Her decades of experience as a coach, consultant, and women's development trainer helped her create UNIque - an initiative for women in academia and the Successful Researcher Roadmap online courses.
