Katie LaBarbera

Katie is a behavioral ecologist interested in using field observations, lab work, and computer simulations to understand complex systems. She has particularly focused on mating systems, parental care, life history, and communication. She got her PhD at UC Berkeley chasing a small but charismatic bird all over the mountains, and is currently studying how Cope's grey treefrogs talk to each other.
