Hiba Abi Khalil

Hiba Abi Khalil holds a PhD in translatology from the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik (USEK), Lebanon, and teaches translation and languages at the Faculty of Information of the Lebanese University, the department of English and translation at the Arab Open University and the department of Languages at the University of Balamand in Lebanon. The recipient of a Fulbright grant, her current research and publication interests include the translation of history texts, journalistic and cultural translation, ethnographic research in translation, technology integration in language, and translation teaching. She is also a certified trilingual translator and loves to meet new people from different cultures and ethnicities. Kayaking, gardening and long walks in nature are some of her favorite pastimes.
