About the session
The effects of the climate crisis vary based on our identity, location, and the era we are in. The relationship between climate change and academia is not only about what we teach and what research we do now. Nor is it solely about the climate scientists. This session explores the implications of climate change in academia, irrespective of our disciplines, locations, experience, and academic cultures. It stirs thoughts on how to make education and research ecosystems more adaptive and transformative given our evolving views and values. The session further invites contributions from the audience on how academics can be more active in policy-knowledge-practice space to make our societies more resilient to climate change.
