Q: Can anyone suggest some Scopus or Thomson Reuter journals with rapid publication and low cost?
It would not be possible to recommend specific journals without going through your manuscript or knowing which field you belong to. One good way to select a journal would be to use Elsevier's Journal Finder, which is a tool to find journals for your paper. Since Scopus is an Elsevier database, you can find Scopus indexed journals through this tool. The tool will also give, for each journal that the search shows up, the average time to get to a first decision. Thus, you will also get to know whether it has a fast review process.
Alternatively, you can check the Scopus journal list yourself and search by subject area. For each journal that you shortlist, you should visit the journal website and check the review time and article processing charges. However, some journals also agree to a total or partial waiver of publication fees, so please read the fee waiver policy also before you decide whether the journal will be suitable for you.
The Thomson Reuters database is now owned by Clarivate Analytics. You can look up for journals related to your field on the Clarivate Analytics journal search site. Here, you can type the keywords and search for the journal titles that match your requirements.
However, make sure that you choose a journal only after thoroughly reviewing the information about the journal/publisher and evaluating the extent to which it is suited to the scope of your research. You might find our tips on choosing the right journal for your paper useful.
