Bio

Sarah Flanagan's research is focused on understanding the evolution of complex, multivariate traits (such as mating display traits), primarily relying on population and quantitative genetics, genomic data sets, and simulation modeling. She uses pipefish and seahorses as an empirical model for her research, capitalizing on their sex-role reversal to test sexual selection theory.
