Bio

Dhiraj Bhatia, a Ramanujan Fellow, is Assistant Professor at Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Gandhinagar. He works in the area of DNA nanotechnology and development of DNA nanodevices. After completing his PhD from the National Center for Biological Sciences in Bengaluru, he went on to work at Institut Curie in Paris as a postdoctoral researcher. He now leads a lab and seeks answers to fundamental questions in cell biology using DNA nanotechnology and chemical biology based approaches. Dhiraj also serves as a peer reviewer for many reputed journals as well as grants.
