All our manuscript editors and writers go through the Basic Editor Training (BET) program that comprises 5 standard modules and various customized programs. Our medical writers receive specific training in ICH–GCP, CONSORT, and ICMJE guidelines. In addition, all our editors also receive intensive English language training. They attend external training programs and workshops that offer updates on grammar, punctuation, and style for American and British English.

What is the post-service you offer for edited manuscripts?

As part of Premium Editing service, we offer the following post-service support: -Free Unlimited Q&A with the editor, Free re-editing support for 365 days if your revised manuscript meets all of the following conditions: The revised document should be submitted for subsequent rounds within 365 days of the delivery date of the original document. The document for which you are requesting free re-editing support should be the same as that submitted in the first round of editing. The word count of the revised document should not exceed that of the original by more than 20%.In case we notice a sizable portion of new content in your revised document which was not edited by us originally, we may charge an additional fee for those sections. The journal to which you wish to submit the re-edited manuscript should be the same. In case your target journal has changed, a flat fee of $45 will be charged. However, this fee will be waived off if you are being charged for re-editing (as mentioned in the above point) OR if you have opted for the response letter crosscheck Add On with Premium Editing

Can I change the type of editing service after submission?

Yes, you can change the type of editing service if the editor has not yet begun editing your manuscript. If the editor has already begun editing your manuscript then you will not be able to change the type of service. Please contact your Client Manager if you would like to change the type of editing service.

What are the different English language styles you use while editing?

We can edit as per two English language styles – American English and British English. You can choose your preferred language style in the online submission form.

Do you edit documents in LaTeX and TeX formats?

Yes, we do edit documents in Latex and Tex file formats. After editing, we deliver the final document as a Tex File. In addition, we send a word document that shows the changes we have made to the text and contains the editor’s comments and suggestions. Please note that we do not accept LyX files for editing.

Is my information secure with you?

All our employees are sensitized to the highly confidential nature of documents they handle and are required to sign confidentiality agreements that are indefinitely binding. Will I be charged for getting my paper re-edited?
No, you wouldn’t be charged for re-editing till your paper adheres to these conditions:

・ Your paper was originally edited within 12 months.
・The word count/added sections do not exceed 20% of the original document.
・Your target journal has not changed.

If any of the above mentioned conditions does not apply to your paper, additional charges will be communicated.
