Dear Researchers, Thank You For All That You Do!

The recent global crisis has changed how–and when–we work, with an increasing global shift to flexible work timings resulting in better work–life balance. However, that is not true in the case of all professions. While researchers have been known to work flexible schedules, it is becoming increasingly common for them to work during holidays.

With the widespread fear and tumult during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, researchers across the board have been at the receiving end of several uncertainties—funding, in-person interactions and networking, and newer research opportunities, to name a few. This has resulted in several academic detours and time management challenges, with most members of the community working prolonged hours across weekends and holidays. Despite these difficulties, the research fraternity has made important contributions to the society. This is resounding evidence of their sustained and disciplined commitment toward research.

We could take a page from them to benefit from the community’s deeply ingrained work ethic. We acknowledge their relentless effort and are grateful for their contributions. Bridging research with society through proper research communication channels can be rewarding. Editage identifies your efforts and can help accelerate your publication journey with end-to-end support.

A recent article by Harvard Medical School1 reported that being grateful and expressing gratitude can be spirit-lifting. In the same spirit of thanksgiving, Editage would like to offer a 20% discount on all services to our valued researchers. Please use the code “THANKSGIVING20” to avail this discount.

Happy holidays from everyone at Editage!
