Editage partners with the Society of Petroleum Engineers to provide discounted manuscript editorial services
(Apr 30, 2020) Editage announced a new partnership with US-based not-for-profit Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) that will allow authors submitting to SPE journals to access Editage’s flagship editing and artwork preparation services at a discount.
SPE journals publish research on all aspects of the upstream oil and gas industry, from technology advancements to practical production and operation cases. Dawit Tegbaru, Managing Editor at SPE, commented on the partnership with Editage: “Supporting our globally diverse community of authors and reducing barriers to quality publication has always been at the heart of SPE, whether it be conference proceedings or journal articles. Through this partnership, our authors can now access Editage’s services at a discount, which will ensure that research seamlessly crosses the boundaries of geography and language.”
Editage is the author services arm of Cactus Communications, a global scientific communications company. Tayllor Stumpe, Manager, Society and Institutional Partnerships at CACTUS, adds, “We’re excited about partnering with SPE. SPE is not only a world leader in the upstream oil and gas industry, but the organization has evolved into a widespread global community with more than 153,000 members in 143 countries. We’re looking forward to support SPE’s community of authors to share knowledge and connect with others in their disciplines.”
