On its fifth anniversary, Editage Insights upgrades its website to offer personalized coaching to researchers globally
(November 26, 2018; Philadelphia, U.S) Editage Insights, the knowledge and education arm of Editage—a global leader in scientific communication solutions—has upgraded and revamped its website to offer a more personalized and guided learning experience for researchers at all stages of their publication journey.
The process of getting research published in scholarly journals is fraught with uncertainty and complexity, and researchers navigating the path to publication have many questions along the way. Personalized guidance and relevant resources are hard to come by, and senior researchers who are able to provide mentorship are often too busy. Editage Insights is a one-stop education solution that offers researchers much-needed guidance and answers to their questions on all aspects on academic writing and publishing.
Now in its fifth year, Editage Insights reaches over 250,000 researchers per month and has more than 3000 original content pieces, ranging from in-depth tutorials to visual 10-second takeaways. The revamped website offers all this content in a mobile-friendly, well-designed, intuitive format that is easy to navigate through and consume. Researchers simply have to indicate what publication stage they are currently at in order to receive personalized recommendations and coaching to help them through that particular stage. In addition, to cater to user-specific learning preferences, the website content has been segregated by format and offers blended learning through articles, videos, infographics, slides, interactive courses, and podcasts. Community members can also interact with each other and ask and answer questions in the Q&A forum.
Here’s what Clarinda Cerejo, Editor-in-Chief, Editage Insights had to say about the new-and-improved website: “Editage Insights is constantly evolving to better serve the education needs of researchers globally, and I’m really delighted to bring the new website to our readers on our fifth anniversary. Through our interactions with our researcher community, we realized that while we had plenty of learning resources, the emphasis on ‘guided-learning’ was missing, and researchers would find themselves getting lost in the deluge of content on the website. The new website offers precisely the kind of handholding that early-career and non-native English-speaking researchers need, and we really look forward to helping millions of researchers reach their publication goals.”
