Editage Insights turned three
Cactus Communications launched Editage Insights in November 2013 with the dream of providing a platform for bringing the scholarly community closer. Since its inception, Editage Insights has become much more than a platform; it is now a comprehensive educational resources portal for authors from all over the world. A small team of passionate writers and editors has grown into a much larger group of experts, who are trusted advisors to ESL authors worldwide. Over the past three years, Editage Insights has successfully gained global readership and built a strong community of researchers, editors, publishers, and medical professionals.
By October 2016, Editage Insights had reached 170,000 readers globally, published over 1400 posts, and received over 1700 questions and comments from its readership. With over 50 guest contributors, Editage Insights has conducted more than 545 workshops and webinars, reaching over 38500 researchers in more than 40 countries. However, Clarinda Cerejo, Editor-in-chief, Editage Insights, insists that this is just the beginning and her team has bigger plans for the future, “We want Editage Insights to become the largest and the most trusted community of researchers globally. We received some amazing anniversary wishes from authors that show that our efforts are clearly making a difference.”
On turning three in November 2016, Editage Insights launched an in-depth survey with the aim of gathering the opinions of all researchers worldwide and presenting them to publishers and important decision makers in the industry. Editage Insights aims to level the playing field for ESL authors in the publishing industry, and the anniversary wishes received from authors reflect the special equation they share with the Editage Insights team. With e-books, workshops, webinars, and many more resources, Editage Insights is determined to expand its global reach and help authors in all corners of the globe. The Editage Insights team plays an integral role in helping Editage achieve its goals of breaking through the confines of geography and language, bridging the gap between authors and peer-reviewed journals, and accelerating the process of publishing high-quality research. Apart from working with individual researchers, Editage partners with publishers, journals, academic societies, and pharmaceutical companies worldwide to assist them in creating compelling, high-quality scientific publications.
Since its foundation in 2002, Editage has become a fully integrated, global scholarly communications company with offices in Japan, South Korea, India, China, and the United States as well as local representatives in Brazil, Taiwan China, and Turkey. 'Employing a global workforce of over 500, Editage has served 706,268 papers across 1,200 disciplines to date. With worldwide educational activities planned for the future, Editage Insights is growing to be a pioneer in the world of academic communications.
