ORCID identifiers integrated with Editage’s Intelligent CV

Editage is pleased to announce the integration of ORCID identifiers in Intelligent CV (ICV), the newest tool in its product suite that lets authors build and manage their online publication records and professional profiles.

With the integration of ORCID identifiers, researchers can easily populate their ICV profile by linking it to their ORCID record.  Moreover, any updates to their ORCID record will automatically reflect in their ICV profile. Researchers who have embedded their ICV profile on a web page, such as their university profile page or lab page, will find their profiles auto-synced to include their newest publications. To take full advantage of this feature, authors are encouraged to provide their ORCID identifiers to all publishers and journals that request it.

With this integration, Editage aims to provide researchers with one more outlet to manage and share comprehensive research profiles with the wider community.

About ORCID
Founded in 2012, ORCID is an open, non-profit, community-driven effort to create and maintain a registry of unique researcher identifiers and a transparent method of linking research activities and outputs to these identifiers.  It is a hub that connects researchers and research through the embedding of ORCID identifiers in key workflows, such as research profile maintenance, manuscript submissions, grant applications, and patent applications. See www.orcid.org.
