Three Editage publications in European Science Editing
We’re proud to share that the August issue of European Science Editing—journal of the European Association of Science Editors (EASE)—Vol. 30(3)—features three Editage contributions across different sections of the journal.
Nikhil Pinto, Managing Editor, Center of Excellence for Medicine, contributed an essay on the Common errors to look out for in medical papers. In this essay, he described common errors with style that he has encountered in his editorial practice. The errors that he discussed ranged from errors in capitalization and italicization to more complex mistakes involving the use of the apostrophe in eponymous terms.
Here’s a look at his published essay!
Our second contribution was by Clarinda Cerejo—Managing Editor, Scholarly Communications. She had the privilege of attending the Council of Science Editors (CSE) annual meeting in May 2013. In her meeting report, she has recounted her experience at the CSE meeting, which she found to be very informative!

Our third contribution is also a meeting report on the Annual Meeting of the Society for Scholarly Publishing (SSP) in June 2013. Marisha Fonseca—Managing Editor, Center of Excellence for Psychology—found attending this conference an interesting and rewarding experience. This conference provided insights on a broad range of issues in scholarly publishing, from open access to massive online open courses (MOOCs).
